According to Māris, "Addington: It came from a monster stand that used to be in the suburb of Addington in Christchurch."

"Rolleston 2:
The name comes from the township out of Christchurch where the stand was originally found. The original owners wanted it gone, so my friend and I took it down for them. My friend is the president of the local cactus & succulent society, and another cactus breeder (trading as Spirit of the Four Winds) who's sent his crosses around the world. He picked up a different pach clone from Rolleston previously, so we called this one Rolleston 2."
